Hey everyone,
I received my new to me X Pro1 and 35mm 1.4 lens today. I'm really excited about it, but I have a question. It appears as though there's some slight play in the lens mount. Is this normal? Isn't there always some amount of lateral movement/wiggle due to the design of bayonet lens mounts?

Thanks for the reply.
My Canon camera's did that, especially with a 17-40, 24-70, and 70-200 lens attached. My Nikon's did it, but it wasn't as pronounced. I bought the camera and lens used from B&H so I was a little concerned.

it's a great combo...it took me a bit of time to learn to use it well though...normally i'm not bothered by new gear but the fujis are truly unique.

That's what I was doing. Nothing extreme but enough to make some movement.
