Looking for a simple, post processing program for the X-pro1 abd Xt1. All suggestions are most welcome!

If you are an Apple user, try Affinity.
I got it at inception and it's really great with Fuji RAW and cheap less than $50.
No assest management to speak off is the only issue. (Libray)

Once I changed to the XT1 I started using the Fuji jpegs primarily.
Occasionally converting a RAW in camera (just for exposure) or converting a jpeg to B+W with Snapseed on mobile.
The in Camera jpegs....Classic Chrome, Velvia, and Standard actually give all the color options one needs.
From natural to vivid and pastel. Those three cover me for the most part with Fuji xtrans-2.

I found Lightroom to be pretty simple after the usual "first date" nervousness and frustration. I started using LR shortly after buying my first X-Pro1 when I decided I should use something other than proprietary Raw converters and Picasa.

I just downloaded a trial of On1, it's as good as anything and is $119. Capture One is probably the best with the Xtrans files but is $299.

Try Darktable, it's free and powerful. Don't know how well it handles X-Trans-files though

I like Affinity too. It can now work with "Edit In…" in Apple Photos, too, which hugely increases the utility of Photos for me. And they're working on an asset management system, apparently.

Fuji will soon allow us to use the camera as the RAW processing Software.

Pretty sweet upgrade for a low spec Laptop like a Macbook 12" or air model.

Iridient Developer probably pulls more detail out of xTrans than anything out there. They also have Fuji film simulations looks that you can add in.
RPP64 has a very different look them most software and their Ektar film look is beautiful. Latest version is https://www.raw-photo-processor.com/RPP/RPP64_1838Beta.zip

Pixelmator in the App Store.
I have no idea what you mean by simple. But Pixelmator seems straightforward. The interface is similar to Adobe Elements'.

I agree that Pixelmator is another good choice in the Apple ecosystem. If you want a great X-Trans converter get X-Transformer or Developer from Iridient. (Free demos available for Iridient). I liked Darktable, but it was a little "crashy" when I tried it. And its X-Trams conversions were not up to Iridient.
