I heard that Kodak was developing (pun) an x-ray proof film? Anbody hear about this, or was it just a rumour.

I wonder what trick they want to use. Film is easy to make insensitive to infrared and longer wavelengths, but to UV and X-ray and gamma radiation it is not, since the energy of these radiations is higher than visible light. Unless they base it on some kind of semiconductor...
OTOH, maybe they will reintroduce TechPan - that is pretty insensitive to x-ray, just like to any other electromagnetic radiation
