X100 fw update 2.0 rumored to be coming SOON plus 23 announcement

Ha, just yesterday I upgraded my wife's x100 to 1.3. Does every firmware upgrade resets all the settings?

I am afraid so.. Every fw update I can remember on the x100 has reset the config.

Coincidentally, me too, I upgraded to V1.3 just yesterday. Just now went (flawlessly) to V2.0

Reset my preferences. Must learn to use "peaking".
Autofocus close up feels better, but must spend the day shooting, so the Nikon stays home today.

I am excited that Fuji has not been so fast to cut off old models. Also with the new XE2 I imagine there will be some things that will eventually trickle down to the XE1 which will keep old farts like me very happy.
