x100 images from Syria

Thanx guys (Simon).

Believe it or not, it is a great boost to be able to communicate with you all. Dark days here.

Always eager to see what you're up to John, take care over there and post as many photographs here as you wish!

I will start a new thread when possible. Should be transmitting again soon.

Can you see if comment about US personnel confirmable? I would appreciate it.

I know many very highly regarded photographers sporting these things (x100). After a few days dodging shells and such I can only thank the stars I'm not toting two big dslrs!

Having been part of the big media in the past,I find that I no longer trust the publishers I once worked for. The media in general has become an instrument of big money. The folks working for the big media are simply tools of the owners. Really sad.

How often do you see a photo of Warren Buffet, when he dosen't have a ice cream bar in his hand? It's not because he likes ice cream, it's part of his "meda image" and he pays for the placement. Warren is not a super rich puppet master - he's just a regular guy, like us - and likes an ice cream bar, just like the "little people do"..

Big Media has ALWAYS been a tool of Big Money. Read up on the Anarchist movement of the 1880s through 1920s, or the breaking of Unions at that time, or Jim Crow Apartheid under the Mason Dixon line through the 60s, or the Viet Nam War, or the Black Power Movement. Big Media has always inflamed the popular feeling against people seeking to assert their rights as Americans and to change things. It has always framed the issues in a way that justifies those in power and those with the money (essentially a difference without a distinction).

brill stuff John
....reading one of the articles, this pissed me right off, just total BS........"Some U.S. officials suggested after previous bombings that al-Qaida militants may be joining the fray."
.
.and on and on it goes.

center of town. many people from surrounding villages have fled here and the town is all but surrounded by Syrian army.
