Shot a job for the British newspaper the Independent on Sunday yesterday in deepest darkest Northumberland on the X100 and a shot appears on p24 of todays edition.

Shot at 1600ASA, lit from a window about 10ft to my right.

I suspect that this might be the first picture shot with an X100 to appear in a British newspaper?

That is a lovely, classic shot, befitting the paper and the camera.

Could you tell us more about the internal camera settings AND about any post processing. Would also like to hear more about your on set thought process and resulting choices as you set up and took this photograph.

I like the muted colour palette. Which "film" setting did you use? Did you shoot RAW and convert in-camera or in PP? How much noise reduction. Aperture/shutter? Only window light?

Very nice photograph, clearly taken by a professional. My guess is you could create a shot worthy of publication taken by a cell phone camera.
