xp1 1 year anniversary...

Mine is coming up on the 1 yr anniversary (at least the earliest file I can find in my archive is 05-2012)...

Today is the first time I've had to clean the sensor - must have been from the walk last week where I changes lenses a couple times outdoors.

I cringed when I saw the first dust bunny ever! The good news - my trusty Giotto blower bulb did the job - no need for wet cleaning !!!

I guess the sensor clean technology in the camera really works pretty well. I've never gone more than a few months without needing to clean my DSLR sensor.

I'm a happy cowboy, but think I will go back to my earlier practice of only taking it out with one lens. This is as good for my head as my sensor 🙂

One of the reasons I don't like to change in the field unless I have too.. For me I would just rather go w/ one body one lens or two bodies two lenses. In the days of film, I would carry a extra lens, but not anymore. I learned my lesson about changing lenses in the fields when I had to clean dust spots off over 200 shots when I got home (my first Nikon dslr).
