Has anyone used the 35/4 Leitz PA-Curtagon-R with the Xpan and the Leica R-Xpan adapter? Any images made with this combination would be most interesting to see.

good suggestion !
At the "Passion Xpan" Site (en Francais) (http://xpan.free.fr/id92.htm) [->Trucs&accessoires -> objectives non Hasselblad]
is a sample image with a Nikon Shift 2.8 /35mm (same principle the Schneider Curtagon)

Furthermore not only the "Leitz-labeled" 35/4 Leitz PA-Curtagon-R but any Schneider PA -Curtagon should work in the same way.
(Advantage the "not Leica labeled" Schneider has an interchangeable mount.

And where did you get your xpan ->Leica-R -Adapter . From Zoerk?

Haven't got one yet i saw one with the adapter yesterday and tried it on one of my Xpans. it's now been sold but i'm researching it as a possible cheaper option than the Xpan 30/5.6. Thanks for the link btw. I'll email Nick.

Wow! I had no idea bout this option. I love the XPan but have held off buying one because I can't afford the 30mm, which would be a must for me. Keep us posted on how this works out!

please mind the "new"[er] Schneider can be shifted for 11mm

Thanks for this link - i would imagine that the cost of this lens new in Leica R mount would be similar to the Xpan 30mm which has it's own dedicated viewfinder. I was looking for something cheaper and to be able to use at F4 not F8. I'm less bothered by the max 56mm coverage of the 35/4 Curtagon. If i decide to get one i'll post some results.
