BLARP?!
I'm thinking about getting a flash for my Xpan II, but I haven't researched yet which flash devices are compatible. I thought I'd start here and ask all of you XPan geniuses.
In this recession, saving $$ is of primary concern, but I don't like buying crap. So if you have any suggestions for diamonds in the rough, I'm very interested in seeing one. New or used, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm not looking for sources, I'm looking for make and model.
I would use the flash for indoor photography, fill-flash outdoors, and just to have in my gear at arms-reach.
P.S. Woo hoo! My 2007 post has resurfaced! Somebody must have taken the poll. Ah, the memories. 🙂 5 people answered Blarp?! Really??? Whoever you all were, we should go see Star Trek when it releases. Anyway, it just so happens that the leading response is the one that actually happened! er... I took my clothes too, and they didn't weigh my undoubtedly heavy stuff, there was an unexpected surplus of space on the tiny plane. We survived, I'm still alive and posting.
P.P.S. If anyone has a preferred slide processor in San Francisco, let me know and I'll go check 'em out. I have my own scanner and printer, but need a processor. Currently, I'm mailing them down to Hollywood at about $8/roll.
