Hey all,

Got some scans recently done with the flextight and theyve come back with black borders. I dont think its the film rebate, rather the scanning mask.

They are around 250mb files, and im wondering if anyone knows (using PS or Irfanview) how to perfectly remove the black frame around the scanned image for printing??
Ive tried using the crop tool but it is very difficult to get it positioned in the perfect spot.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Ben,
Put image at 100% (Control/Alt/0)
Make sure Background Colour of document is white.
Select Magic Wand Tool
Tick Contigues
Set Tolerance to 1
Click inside black border, this should select just the black border, but may possible select a value touching the border if of exactly the same value. If so deselect just this part.
With the area now selected hit the Delete key. You will now have a white border that will not show in the print. If the size of the image is reduced too much just increase image size.

Regards
Jim
