Isn't such a big camera quite noticeable on the streets?
I was invited to Hasselblad for a factory tour late summer of 2000. At the end of the day I asked them about the Xpan system and the lenses. The story I remember best was that the 30mm f5.6 was based on the Zeiss 38mm Biogon design...and that the 45mm would almost cover 4x5. I have found both
these lines to be incredibly sharp wide-open.

The XPan really isn't that large a camera. Fairly discreet, and certainly smaller than a boxy DSLR.
It's got a really great heavy heft to it too - this is a solid well-built camera.
