xpan is a copy of a p3-prototype (p as a symbol of praktika or panorama?)kamerawerke noble showed at photokina some years ago. i had the non-working camera in my hands. i dont know if it ever worked. a wonderful color-prospectus showed a unique multiple-use-camera. body was target 5000 dem. 24x36, 24x70 and 2x 24x34mm(stereo) was possible with lenses from 35mm to 100(if i am right). prisms used to change stereobase. its a pity i had not been contacted at that time, since i have learned that further developemnt had been stopped due to lack of 3d-stereo-knowldge. they did not know how to use those stereo-images. but i had researched the net and have found endless amounts. these day its actual like never before. even 3d-lenticular prints are possible from such dual shots. in 3d-stereo-news i have learned recently that price of the komamura 38mm stereo-cam is not yet fixed. those 5000 usd i have reach earlier would certainly not help to make it succesfull. 1500 usd would do.
