xpan without mid-roll rewind button

hi. i am considering buying an inexpensive xpan without the mid-roll rewind button. How serious is this deficiency ?

I presume you mean a camera whose mid-roll button odes not work. If that's the only defect, then it only matters if you ever want to do a mid-roll rewind, and only you can decide that. I have done once or twice when I switched the film but certainly not a frequent need.

HOWEVER, this may indicate additional problems that exist or may show up soon so there's an element of risk there.
