Anyone have any experience with flash fill in daylight with this camera? I would think it would be just stopping down a stop from what the flash calls for?
Thanks

I don't know this camera, but I usually use 1.5 to 2 stops down. I have been successful with the auto mode. Your camera, it looks like, has a leaf shutter; so add (make smaller) whatever stops (1,1.5 or 2) you choose (on the auto mode flash) to the lens and then adjust to ambient light with the shutter.
At social events you can prefocus and shoot. It is amazing they just come out good.
Here is Dante Stella's essay on fill flash (it is simple but very good):

1 or 2 stops, depending on your preference. Remember to leave the camera set to Auto not flash.

Can you expand on that please? Why not the flash setting?

If you use the flash position in the auto-flash-B selector, the speed will be fixed at 1/30 (IIRC). On the other hand if you select auto, the speed will be chosen by the camera, according to the ambient light.

Never tried on mine. Suppose some day I'll try, I have an old Nikon SB20 that would fit on there nicely.
