Hi all:
I recently bought a Yashica FX-3, in very good condition. Only the leather cover is missing, and I'm already buying a replacement.
The problem is that I saw that the mirror cushion is decomposing. This causes dirt on the mirror and doesn't actually help when taking photos. So, I was looking for any tutorial for general mirror cushion replacemente or a photo or drawing to know how was this cushion on Yashicas.
Thanks in advance!!!

If you just google generic mirror cushion/mirror damper repair you will get many tutorials. All those then-modern SLRs are quite similar in structure and mirror cushion does not have to have rocket-science level precision.

I just usually cut a thin strip of the right length from an old open cell rubber mouse pad and glued it in place on my Minolta SRT cameras.
