Hey guys, I'm having a problem with a new black yashica gx from the bay that won't wind on film. Basically the film advance sprocket just slips, no matter the position of the film rewind button. The little hole in the plastic barrel lets me see that the inner shaft is spinning freely, the sprocket barrel just isn't locking to it...
Any tips of what might be wrong?

I haven't worked with this kind of issues, though inner mechanism could be stuck in "rewind" position. Hope it's not broken.
