Yashica Lynx exposure meter repair

Hi All,

I'm just servicing my Lynx 14E, but finaly I'm in trouble.
The exposure meter's resistor strip seem to be broken.
Let me be straight: I'm not sure how it should look like. Now I have two metal stripes:
-one glued on the aluminium ring's inside (it's about 180 degrees long),
-the other fallen down, it would be ~150 degrees, if would glued on the ring.
I think it should be only one ~330 degree long stip, glued on the ring's inside.
Am I right?
Do you have any idea how to recover the resistor stripe?

Thank's for the pictures, they were really useful. Now I have some answers, and some new questions.
First the answers:
The stripe is not broken, but there is two stripes glued together. On your second picture the joint is visible:

I watched my ring, and the mark of the joint is visible, too:

I tried to put the fallen part right to the end of the other part. The stripe is longer than it is on your picture.

So I tried to glue it to the mark of the joint. I got the correct lenght.

So the answer: I do not need to get a new, unbroken resistor stripe. I have to glue the fallen stripe into the ring.
And the new question: How do I have to glue the two stripes together? Is there an electronic contact between the two stripes, or I have to isolate them?

If you, or anyone have an idea, I would be closer to rescue my beloved camera.
