Bill, I saw a lot of that as well on the Leica forum on pnet. I think the problem over there is that the forum started out as an independent forum for Leica users, and piggy-backed onto pnet by Greenspun after pnet was originally launched. It should have been, and still should be, renamed as the Rangefinder forum, but there was too much history. A simple renaming would have made it a nicer place, imo, without all the Leica mystique silliness. But who cares? We now have RFF and it's a far better place to hang out.

Gene (loving my Leica M2, but it *is* just another RF camera :D)

Oh, I agree, Gene. Don't want to re-start a war or a feud or whatever. I hope everyone has that out of their systems now. Leicas are great, Cosinas are great, they just inhabit different niches. And the only thing I have against Leicas is that I don't have one yet. Maybe someday.

Best Regards,

Well said! I still get a huge kick out of my Zorki 3M and my Bessa R, in many ways, is an easier camera to use than my Leica.
