Moskva 5 & 6x6 mask just showed up from alex-photo. Great condition, and the RF is accurate! Case is good too, I think I'll be having some fun with this.... Any suggestions on treating the bellows?

Don't poke holes in it? Seriously, I think treating it with some leather conditioner would help, although I haven't tried this with mine yet.
It's a lovely camera, from an aesthetic standpoint. I even decided to make it my new avatar.

I had the strangest feeling SOMEONE would say "Don't poke holes in it"... Yes, so far I am very pleased with its appearance, and I like the handling of it. Just loaded some HP5 into it, so we'll see how it goes

The mask is wicked, in my opinion. If you were to get yourself a normal 6x6 folding rangefinder, say the Iskra for example, you could easily bring around two cameras that together give you two choices of focal length for your 6x6 photos.

I had been looking for something to treat old camera cases, but also had in mind the leather bellows of my folder. After a search I had found that the horse outfitters do a wide range of leather treatments. They had a leather "balm" which was said to help its flexibilty. (and it was expensive!). Seems nice to use, non-slovent with a mild scent (won't hurt that FSU leather smell).

Just some guy, you know?

I was wondering why your avatar looked so familiar...is this the same M-5 that made its way from me to you, or are you on your second one? In either case, I'm glad to see that you're enjoying it - it's a real "sweet spot" in MF-RF technology. If I had been more into MF at the time, I'd still have it.
And congrats to comp_wiz101 on the new addition - good shooting.
Cheers,

A working Moskva is a wonder. Maybe not as amazing as an Iskra, but still quite a kick !
I scanned this earlier, zero touching (I was testing my new IT8 calibration targets!) from the Velvia 50 slide

Hello Joe, yes it certainly is your Moskva-5. To be honest, I haven't developed anything from it yet. I'm trying to accumulate enough rolls to get a discount off processing. But it's a really fun camera.
