YeeHaw! Just picked up my 21/4 CV...

Trekked into NYC and picked up the lens from Will at Photo Village. In and out in 2 hours, and ready to see what this'n will do when I stick it on My "R".

i've had my cv 21pancake for a few days now and i like it - both on the r4a and on the r-d1. it looks nicer than the old skopar style. the lh-1 hood fits it and even though it blocks a good amount of the vf, i found it didnt annoy me at all. 🙂 it's not an issue at all on the r-d1, but i was too lazy to take it off on the r4a. without the hood, it's a great low profile lens and you can almost sick the camera in your pocket.

the focus wings are similar to the 35 pii and the nokton 40mm. i quite like that compared to the old 'stick'

it's not the sharpest lens in the world, but quite good none the less. light falloff is about the same as the old version.
