Hey Everyone! I'm new to the forums, but I've been lurking for a while and I've learned a lot from everyone here. It seems like this is the most common thread topic on this forum, but I just got a black Canonet QL 17 GIII off of Yahoo auction Japan. It was a little more than I had originally intended to spend, but it's a thing of beauty! Ive been playing with it for about a week and it's a really fun camera to shoot with.I've got an online gallery at: http://shawnread.smugmug.com/gallery/2012777 - I'd love some comments and constructive criticism if you're so inclined! I have two more rolls I'd like to develop, which leads me to a question - Do you develop locally or over the net? I live in Japan and it's about $12 a roll to develop plus extra for a photo CD of relatively low quality scans. Where does everyone develop their pics and how do you get them into your computer? Thanks

Hi Shawn, welcome to the forum.

I personally get my films developed locally and scan in the film at homek, which gives me far more control.

Happy shooting!

Hey Chris, Thanks for the welcome! What kind of scanner do you use, I've been looking at slide scanners but they seem to be pretty expensive.
