... would be very sweet.

It just occurred to me from looking at the pictures that the X1 resembles Leica-0 in form and probably size. So why not give it an LTM mount? :bang:

Now that would be something that is worth the asking price.

That would even open up a potential market for a new breed of LTM compatible tiny AF prime lenses. Sweeet!
 
An X1, a sawzall, an old ii or iii and a couple of hours....

oh, and glue, lots of glue.

There is a Leica on sale now that fits your requirements, except that Panasonic makes it :D

At least there's am M lens adaptor for it.


Unfortunately, the GF-1 does not have the same profile as an original Barnack-design.

The X1 does, it's too much of a resemblance for it to be a coincidence, me thinks.

It's a lost opportunity, in my view, Leica could have a GF-1 killer instead.
