What a great portrait Michael, it goes to show how important those simple snapshots can become, well done.

I guess this one is a favorite of mine, one of my boys...

My favourite RF photo this year was from my trip to Venice in April:

Canonet G-III QL17 / Ilford HP5+

My favourite photo of the year comes from my summer in Slovenia, taken on my (apparently indestructible, light, compact yet totally unlovable) Pentax MZ-M SLR, at Lake Bohinj very early one morning. It had been raining all day and night, most of the group I was with were miserable/hungover/wanting to go home, and I wandered off with my camera and forgot all about it:

Pentax MZ-M / SMC-M 28/2.8 / Ilford HP5+

It's been a great year photographically - very hard to choose these two.

Probably this shot I took a few months ago on old abandoned farm I discovered in a valley behind Brisbane.

Really impossible to say, but this SLR pic of my son and his friend is definitely a fave. I also really enjoyed some B&W RF street stuff, but the perspective in this one really made me happy.

And here's one of my other kid, at Thanksgiving. Oddly, I'm not really into a lot of family photography, but a lot of my favorites end up being of family. This one was taken with a Contax G1, 45mm Planar, and Arista Premium.

I guess I'd pick this one. I'm doing a little documentary project on the restoration of an old WWII bomber. One morning, one of the guys brought his dog along to the hangar. M8, 35 UC Hexanon.
