Very good point. I keep thinking of that when I return from work at 3am 🙂 Of course I always have one of my FSUs with me 😎

Nah. it wouldn't be conviniet to carry it with you all the time.
FSU cameras are a perfect choice; they are reasonably compact and are as solid as a rock. And, no one will accuse you of using excessive force.
 
not an FSU at all, but I think the deadliest self-defense camera is the Pentax 67...
Otherwise, yes, the Kiev is a very good one... I've never tried it but it's said it's very good when used as a mace.
