Your Best Xa Photos

Mob81 - that's simply a stunning image regardless of the camera/lens combo - but from an XA? I would have thought, "No Way." How wonderful to be proved wrong.

XA2 in London last year:

some photos from a recent test roll.. converted to B&W, because for this test roll, i used a free roll (Sunny 100) from one of my buyers..

awesome thread! I've got an XA in the mail at the moment, paid 25 eur for it. Judging from the really great shots here, we might become good friends. Will be my first rangefinder too, so if I can get along with the supposedly crappy VF/RF on this one, it's bye bye slr! :)

Actually, the supposedly crappy vf/rf is about the same as my Leica III. It's actually better because you only have to look through one peep hole instead of two.

But I zone focus the XA anyway so the rf part is irrelevant.

Thanks tedwhite, I just saw your comment!
That image is cropped "the corners are soft!" and I think it might be the slide not perfectly flat! Though, I think it's the lens....as all the shots have the same issue and only with the XA!

By the way, it was my first Velvia!! What a wonderful film.

I'm Outta' Here...

Olympus XA, Kodak Gold 200

A little different, but I still like this one and as we all know, there is no accounting for taste.
