Far too many and I have to clear it all out. Just got rid of Yashica GSN, two zorki 4s and Bessa R2 plus a load of SLR gear. Next in line to go Yashica GTN, Olly XA2, Rollei 35T, Ricoh GR1. After that there's a load of stuff barely worth selling, Olympus Trips, Keiv (minox copy) etc etc.

I aim to end up with one M6 system, one dSLR system (with a film body backup), one film compact, one digital compact and some space in the office.

Recently I have more than doubled my camera quotient through dee'scovering rangefinders and going crazee with e-bay sales funding !
About 30 rangefinders ... 4x Chinons / Prinzflex , 6 x Prakticas [ recently collected in a fit of nostalgia ! ] , Nikkormat , Spotmatic , [ because i could at last ! ] 8 x Minoltas , [ my mainstay cameras from the mid 70s , aquired over time ] 4x auto everything Minoltas , and a canon G2 digibox ...
Most are redundant ... but they fetch so little money and such a bind to put on e-bay , that they just hang around...
I though that this was excessive ASdee stuff - but when I see the collections of so-called NTs [ neurotypicals ] , it seems almost restrained ...

However , even more so than my Minoltas Sr to SRt , the little Leicas and derivatives have created a little oasis in chaos which NOTHING else has managed ...
 
Is it just me ... or are the 'ten to twenties' starting to gain on the 'five to tens'...? :eek:

I own two cameras: Epson R-D1 plus Rollei 35S. (Had the Rollei for 3 years but I've never used it as I don't shoot film, so for practical purposes I guess I really only have one camera!)

Before the Epson, I really only had one camera: a Canon 10D.

Would prefer a stripped down semi-mechanical dSLR a la Epson R-D1 instead of a rangefinder, but no one's ever going to make one, sadly.

Within the limitations imposed by a rangefinder, my single in-use camera is versatile enough to cover all my needs, along with four lenses (21, 35, 50, 90 mm)...

1 Rangefinder Voigtlander Bessa R
1 Panasonic Lumix FZ20 digital
3 Kodak cameras from bygone eras
1 Olyimpus P&S Super Zoom 38-70

That's a grand total of 10 cameras but I only use 6 of them and would like to find a home for the 3 Kodaks.

Thankfully I'm still short of the "you're kidding?" level, but there's enough different bodies, mounts etc that I use a spreadsheet to keep track of it.

Where's "wierdcollector" Curt? His collection is at least in the 4 digits if not 5.
 
I answered "You're kidding?" not because the count exceeds 100 but more in the sense of "You're kidding; you really expect me to count them?" :)

Ummmmm ... forty three ... and two in transit from Grizzly Bear. The slippery slope of medium format has just reared it's head so I may have to start dropping a few 35's off the bottom ... or maybe not! :D

notice I made that number a bit hard to read. :p

I try to keep it at around 15 max, but it keeps creeping over 20 even though I keep trimming the collection. I can't figure this out :)
