So, what is your favorite camera and lens combination that you are into using right now? The one that you tend to go to for fun. Digital or film, small format or large format... just keep it lighthearted. 🙂 (so, if you don't like the question, just remember you do not need to post)

For me, Nikon Df with the 58mm 1.4g

For the past week, it has been there and back between Sony A7 with G Sonnar 90/2.8 and Mamiya RZ with 110/2.8.

Auto focus and a fast/ish 35mm is a great combination for b&w film 🙂

This week I'm carrying the Polaroid SLR670a by MiNT loaded with Impossible Project 600 B&W 2.0 or Third Man Records yellow duotone film.

Today, I have the Nikon D750 with me, along with 18mm lens in order to capture a specific system design diagram sprawled over a room-long, floor-to-ceiling whiteboard. It did a fantastic job (sorry, I cannot show it).

Right now a Yashica MAT EM I found at a street sale (don't know how you call it in good english). Seems to work ok, even the meter works. Is fun, except focusing, can't see a thing without using the loupe and holding it to my eye.

Waiting for some Fuji fp-100 so I can try out that. First time I'm going to use a polaroid. Looking to it.

Now that we're at the end of the month, my favorite combo on any given day of this month has been:

D800e + Sigma 35/1.4 ART

D800e + Sigma 50/1.4 ART

D800e + Nikon 200-500mm

ZI + ZM 35/2.8

ZI + 50/2.0 Planar

ZI + ZM 25/2.8 Biogon

Also, I just got my A7R back from Kolari, so I may come back to this thread and add some more favorite combos that include my modified A7R.

Without question my Leica M-A and 35 Summicron-ASPH is my current preferred combination.

Mamiya AFD with a 12 year old Kodak Pro Back 645M and the Sekor 110mm! Never felt digital images so close to film, and the colors of the old CCD back are just awesome.

I’m torn. It would be either the Leica M-240 with 50mm Summicron I’m borrowing, or my Rolleiflex 6006 with a 80/2.8 lens (and a roll of Tri-X).
