Your Favorite Street Photo You Made

Reminds me of isolation in a technologically advancing world.

This one is spectacular. I would be very proud to have taken that photo.

Great work everyone!

I don't exactly recall what was the occasion but i liked the way those lads kept them selfs entertained, completely uninterested of what was going on around them.

I am a rather shy street shooter, but could not resist this chance.

Taken in Ronda, Spain with Mamiya 6 and 150/4.5 lens:

A few that I've made over the years, though some not necessarily taken on 'the street'...

Elijah lived in Lafayette Square, which is the park across from the White House. This was part of a story for the Toronto Star newspaper, and as we were interviewing him, this tourist walked into the photo and just couldn't believe what he was looking at. I think the shot is not so much Elijah himself, but the other fellow's seeming reaction to him.

This shot I've always liked - showing half of the kid's face, him looking off to the side, the electrical box in the shape that it's in. This shot just took 3rd Place in the Ryerson Polytechnic University Alumni photo contest!

Too weird to even talk about!

I think I probably like this shot because of where it is, not necessarily because it's a great shot.

Total luck shot - done with an M2 and a 90mm Summicron. I pre-focused to that spot and just waited for something to happen.

Another total luck shot - I'm shooting near the Medici Fountain, and all of a sudden I notice this couple sitting next to the statues.....couldn't believe the mirroring of the people with the statues of the two lovers. Just had to take the shot!

This was Memorial Day weekend at the Vietnam War Memorial wall. It just seemed like a complete circus there, and I rented a Widelux for the weekend. I think this captures the atmosphere.

The Whammo Frisbee Festival -- it's just such an exhuberant shot, and I love the expression on the one kid's face, not to mention all the hands in these interesting gestures.

A bit of a homage to Andre Kertesz...

Like the inside/outside effect, plus the gentleman's look...

The rain, everyone huddling under the awning, and the expressiveness of the carousel horses.

Looks like it could have been taken 70 years ago.
