that appears to be a lux. you can actually read the front, just barely.
 
as Chris says, it is a summilux

all the crons are great lenses from collapsible to built-in hood, just pick the best one in your price point, ergonomics, and signature, and you're good
 
Mine is the latest with the built in hood, I havent used any others.
 
i prefer both newer version of the 50mm Cron & Lux w/ sliding hoods. No more searching for hoods and the performance is stellar.

It took me a couple years to figure that one out.
 
All nice, but I never got along with my collapsible.

I suppose the 1969 version 4. Since I like my new 50 2.8, I might try a new 50 also.

I like the rigid and DR glass, but the DR is heavy.
 
Just bought a v6 (built in hood) version. It's beautifully built, in mint condition and results are excellent but it hasn't won me over yet. I can't see any real performance advantage over the CV 50/2.5 I tried and the Summicron feels very big and heavy. I said I'd shoot the whole roll with it but kept going back to my usual 35mm, maybe I just don't much like 50's.

It's funny how you can desperately want something and when you get it it all seems a bit flat somehow.

Try M-Rokkor 40mm. I find that I use it more and more over my RIgid Cron 50/2 and 35mm CV Ultron combined. And I didn't think I would like 40mm lens. But this little compact lens keeps winning me over. I never used 35mm Summicron, but I have read some say that 40mm Rokkor is as good or better. I dont know if its true, but I'm loving my M-Rokkor, thats for sure.

I have the current version cron v6 in chrome. It certainly adds balance I think to my MP, weight wise its no problem because it really is a small lens anyhow. The images it produces are stunning, sharp, detailed and very enlargeable.

When I have the time/cash I want to check out the Zeiss offerings also. I have a Contax T3 and love the Zeiss glass.
