Your most _haunting_ photo

I dunno if this is haunting, but it's ominous at least.. It's the result of scanning a neg on a flatbed without a neg adapter, through a poly sleeve. No PS or anything. It's how it came out.

here is a good one

freaky to say the least. Scares the **** out of me. . .

this is merely a double exposure of me first with my face all scrunched up, then suddenly opening my eyes and mouth as wide as I can.

Then, I jacked up the contrast and dimmed it down a little in PS.

Not an untouched image - but not that messed with either.

It is truly the creepiest image I've ever seen. It sticks with you once you view it, for a couple hours. Sometimes longer. . . .

There ya go. Taken in February 2005. You can see it in context in the "Ski camp" gallery on my site.

thanks, now I'll never sleep again. It has a sort of evil clown/ dawn of the dead/ texas chainsaw massacre appeal to it 🙂

Not sure this is exactly "haunting", but I find it quite appealing in a slightly uneasy kind of way:

(Unfortunately screen display doesn't do justice to the picture; the actual print looks more dramatic).
