-Leica M4 black paint with 35mm Summilux pre-asph (i don't like how the chrome and black chrome versions look as much as the BP), or chrome Leica M2 with 50mm f/2.8 Elmar.
-Zeiss Ikon Contaflex I (later Contaflex SLRs don't look as good to me, I prefer the simplicity of the I)
And the ones I don't own:
-Zeiss Ikon Contaflex TLR
-Rolleiflex 2.8F
-Dubroni Nr. 3 (the whole outfit is incredibly beautiful)
-Alpa SLRs (I love most of them)
-Rectaflex 1300
Of the ones I use: Leica IIIf
Old collectible: Kodak No. 3 Folding Pocket (118 format film; I've used it a few times with a single sheet of 4x5 film taped to the pressure plate)
Alpa 6c A combination of Swiss watch precision with the strength of a main battle tank. It focuses very close, will mount many other lenses with the right adapter and is delightfully different. Joe
I have to admit while ago I thought Leica M cameras were ugly. But now I can't imagine any camera more beautiful than Leica M in black. My vote goes for black M4.
an M3 with a Leicavit, summicron 35 and SBLOO finder. that's like the dream combo for me... well, sorta.
(M3+Leicavit requires modification, if you were wondering)
ever since I got my M2, I've wanted an M3. mostly because they look so awesome.
(further proof that I spend way too much time here. )
