Raid,

I would assume they have to be pretty similar!

What do you shoot them on? T90?!

I use them with m 4/3 cameras for special tele lenses these days, but in past years I used them with the T90 and F1N (I have two of each). I was a sucker for spot metering capabilities, so Canon was ahead of Nikon for cameras with built-in spot meters (then).

Curiously I cannot find a complete list of all Canon EF lenses ever made.

I would love to see a list of lenses by year released.

Thank You!

I was actually looking for this exact page.

But couldn’t nav it on the phone or missed it entirely.

Then began to question wether it was a real memory.

... yep! Haha

There are so many beautiful Canon lenses there. One FD sleeper lens is the 28-50/3.5. It is a wonderful lens.

What, no love for the 75-300 EF III? :)

After decades of FD-mount Canons, I tried a Rebel G (EOS 500N) just for fun - and it is fun - but the only lens I could get with it at the time was the 75-300. It's crude and rough to use, but actually decent optically.

For must-have, I'd say 50/1.8 - any version. They're inexpensive, reasonably good optics, fast, lightweight. Mine's a II, slow to focus and noisy, but it seems to nail the focus and produce nice images - as good as the 50/1.4 on my Elan 7NE.

I've yet to use my 35/2 IS. Pretty lens, though.

Beat up my old EOS 1 during a week of camping.

I noticed one dew covered morning that the display in my viewfinder is no longer accurate... actually it makes no sense at all haha! Just a glob of light bars where the shutter speed should show.

Thankfully the camera appears to be working fine otherwise. Darn! Guess she lives to see another camp!

Contemplating a upgrade. Darn it! I want my data! Lol

EOS 3? EOS 1V... I wish.

For Full Frame work, here are my favorites

24-70mm f2.8l <--- my most used lens and over all the most versital and rarely ever feel the need to change it when in use.
70-200mm f2.8l IS <--- most sporting event work I've done, this has been a no brainer
50mm f1.4 <--- simply a solid over all great prime.

for crop'd sensor
16-35mm f2.8l <--- on a cropped senor this like 25mm to 50mm ish

Runner's up (for either crop'd or full frame)

100mm f2.8 Macro <-- I've used this prime more then expect
24mm f2 <--- not most people's favorite, but I like it on canon eos film camera's when I go hiking or when I take the kayak out.

Oh, I was basically given 2x Canon 1d mk II's a little while back, and I'm oddly really diging these old digital camera body's. The 10fps is an amazing thing and amount of noise when shotographing that 10fps makes is kind of mind boggling! I suepct the sound similar to Mg42 when it was fired at burst rate!

Nice!

I used to own a 1D MKII and eventually a IIN.

Honestly been looking for a good local deal and I would own another some day.
