It's a great lens but it's a little clinical IMO ... and you are definitely not a clinical photographer. Your work is pure emotion and this lens will partially hide that ... only my opinion. :)

Well ... realistically it is only my opinion. (slightly tip toeing is a good description :D)

But I do think I'm right here!

Strangely the only camera I've really liked this lens on so far is the RD-1 where you have a lot of control over the output ... being digital!
 
(A)
M6 0.85 classic with MP optics + either Biogon-C 35/2.8 or Biogon 21/2.8 + ZM finder.

(B)
X-Pro1 + Fujinon 28/2.8. A wonderful (though imperfect) lens; the more I use it the more I like it.

I also have the Fujinon 35/1.4 but I prefer wide angle lenses. The 35 is a nearly perfect lens but 50mm efov is not a one-lens solution for me -- it's reserved for specialized applications. I find a 21 efov easier to use as a general purpose lens than a 50. Yeah, crazy, I know.
