TMax100 is quite a nice film in 120, though I was never much impressed in 35mm where FP4 and Acros 100 seemed to win out.

shot with a Nikon D700 and the final image is the product of two images joined using Microsoft's ICE editor (a free download from MS). I knew that a single image could never do scenes like this justice and demanded a panoramic layout.

And where did this line come from? It's fainter on the next frame and then goes away:
At that point this expensive "ultimate" film camera declared electronically that there was an error and the rest of the film was wasted. Back to the M7!

Have you checked the negatives? Could be some dust/grit in the path of the filmgate. Sometimes it can have to do with the lip of the film canister. Bummer when it happens, though it happens rarely.
