TMax100 is quite a nice film in 120, though I was never much impressed in 35mm where FP4 and Acros 100 seemed to win out.

shot with a Nikon D700 and the final image is the product of two images joined using Microsoft's ICE editor (a free download from MS). I knew that a single image could never do scenes like this justice and demanded a panoramic layout.

Have you checked the negatives? Could be some dust/grit in the path of the filmgate. Sometimes it can have to do with the lip of the film canister. Bummer when it happens, though it happens rarely.
