Comrade - you have allowed your enthusiasm to cloud your judgement. Do you not recall that the committee switched to triple accounting and this thread now has over 3000 viewings? You are obliged to re-educate yourself in Zorki nostalgia by reading the attached thoroughly. (From a book published by TOE called "New horizons in sight and sound").

Look Comrades! That Lady has a mink coat and a Zenit E! Such abundance is only possible under socialism!
On a darker note, one can't help but notice they miss-captioned the Kievs - perhaps after a visit from Comrade Stolichnaya? We must write to Mr Khruschev at once.
Comradely regards, Ian

It's not just camera porn, nor vintage camera porn. It's proletariat-safe vintage camera vintage porn.

Comrades - for fairness to the comrades. the book was produced in the UK so I think the nice lady in the coat is probably one of the TOE staff. The swopped captions are down to British Pale Ale at lunchtime, I suspect.

For anyone who weren't familier with TOE, (I wasn't) here is a page to tell who they were.

Pretty cool, I missed out, possibly because I live in the U.S.
I was into SLR's back in the day, I smashed a nice Rolleiflex, because I hated the old "junker". Funny how age changes perspective.
