Z7 vs M10 for Leica glass?

I've seen some great sample pictures taken with Z7 using Leica glass, and I've read many comments affirming that the Z6/Z7 is superior to any of the Sony A7r series for Leica glass (particularly on the wide end), possibly due to the thinner sensor stack of the Z6/Z7.

I've been saving up for an M10, but now I'm wondering if the Z7 is a good alternative to the M10 for my Leica glass?

Here are some advantages I see for the Z7:

1. Cheaper
2. IBIS
3. More resolution
4. Better color science
5. Better low light performance
6. Ergonomics
7. Better implementation of focus peaking
8. Probably more reliable

But the M10 has some advantages too:

1. Optimized for Leica glass
2. It's beautiful
3. Traditional knobs/dials (I love that)
4. Holds value better

I would love to hear about the experience of anyone here who has purchased a Z7 as an alternative to a Leica digital M for Leica glass.

I use a Z6 and a Leica M digital. They are very different cameras. One is basically an SLR shooting experience, and one is a Rangefinder shooting experience.

It depends on what you are looking for. The Nikon Z route is obviously much less expensive than the Leica M digital route, but again, the Nikon Z cameras are not going to be a Rangefinder shooting experience.

I have the Z7 and a Leica M240 which is pretty much an M10 but with better battery life and a few extra features.
If you want to use Leica glass, get the Leica. It works seamlessly and quicker with better results than using the same Leica lenses on my Z7. The Z7 is great if you are getting it primarily to use with Nikon lenses.

And, as a Leica owner, do not believe the lie that Leica digital cameras hold their value!!! The lenses do, but not the bodies. Used M10s are now under $5K. The M240, which was $7-$8000 when it came out is now worth about $2600-$2800. And dropping. All digital bodies, no matter who makes them, lose value because you are buying tech. And we all know what old tech is worth!

I had a Leica M9 and a Sony a7II. I changed the Sony with a Nikon Z6. I must say that the Nikon is much superior to Sony: the yield with Leica glasses is superior, the IBIS stabilizer is superior, the video is superior. I thought I could do without an M10, but it isn't. Although the yield with Leica lenses with the Nikon is excellent, the problem is focus, the rangefinder is much faster and more precise. Taking pictures with a Leica rangefinder is really different. All much simpler, faster and light. The Z6 is best used with its autofocus optics. Now maybe I'll change my M9 to an M10
