Zarja with 26m....Finally

hummm,
The one I found
w49-1.jpg

Since it has a wide bevel, it may work. no way to tell until I take a test of a white wall to check out.

Thanks on 49mm conformation.

As you say it looks very wide, so it might be OK as far as the lens is concerned, but I think there is a chance that it might block the viewfinder!

Well, I don't care, the VF is for a 50 anyway, I may get a 28mm VF...for the shoe. Don't know yet. First I need to get the camera and test it out...a few weeks yet

Adaptor for 42mm lens

Adaptor for 42mm lens

Please tell me where you buy an adaptor to use a M42 on a LTM. I have a great 28mm Miranda lens I would like to try on a ltm. Well done with your Zarya-I bought one a few years ago and it is great!

You can get these on eBay. Just make sure it is a tube rather than a ring. Flangeto-flange is about 17.8mm, so it will be obvious if you see a picture, and it should be promoted that it allows proper focus. There is a guy in Hong Kong making them. Mine came from Ukraine. It was cheap, plain-vanilla, and just fine for the job.

Got mine off Ebay too..it is like a small extention tube, M42 for your lens, and L39 (LTM) for your body.

Got it home...
