I have posted at RFF images taken with the Zeiss Hologen 16/8 on the M9 and also on the M8. The colors at the edges are smeared in the M9, while the M8 gives a copped view of a 21mm lens. While the M9 seems to be best suited for B&W images, the 21mm view with the M8 looks good and can be used in color. I am not going to use any software to adjust frame by frame for the edges. My third Leica camera attempts with the Hologon have been on my M3 (obviously, with film). I will mail out a few rolls of film to Dwayne's Photo to get them developed and scanned. I am curious to see how different the images look like when using a film camera with this lens.

Has anyone here used both digital and film with the Hologon 16/8?

I had an M240 for 8 months as a loaner camera.

Hi Raid,
I have used Cornerfix with a VM 15mm lens. From memory you create a profile by taking a picture of a white wall, eg at f5.6. Then this profile can be used by Cornerfix to correct any future pictures taken with the lens at f5.6. You can create other profiles at different apertures. It works pretty well.
