i've never heard anyone say the FA43 was the best EVAR, but it's definitely one of the reasons why i love pentax.

I was expecting this question! I have to dig into my "data bank" to get the key to which lens was used. I will let you know.

Sepiaverb lend me the Pentax RF lens. His comment on the results were pretty much that he was unable to see a difference in the posted scans. The Summicron-C and the Pentax looked good.

I found the files for the Pentax lens.
This is a 50% crop followed by a tiny crop of the eye.:
