I have a few areas on my Zeiss Super Ikonta of 1953 that has lost little bits of paint.
I bought some Hobby Lobby art paint hoping it would stick but no, it just comes off. Does anyone know of a black paint that will work on these camera bodies. I am not looking for perfection, I just want to tidy it up.
Any help appreciated.

Is it going on chromed metal? Or what?

If you can find some oil-based paint, that is usually good. In an art store, or look at paints for model cars and trains. Most canned enamels from general hardware stores have pigment that is not ground fine enough to give a good look.

There is also a Rustoleum Semi-Gloss black, "2x Ultra-Cover' in a spray can that matches basic black enamel on many old cameras. You can spray into a small jar and collect enough paint for touch-up work. Messy and fumes everywhere so be sure to spray outside and point the jar top away from you so the fumes and paint don't bounce back into your face.

The metal does look a little on the chrome side, probably the reason why what I used did not stick.
I will look into that spray option, thank you.

I actually use nail polish to touch up my cameras. (It's really just enamel with acetone as a binder.) Cheap, readily available and dries fast. If you also use clear gloss enamel nail polish you can mix that in and get it glossier. I've also used just the clear gloss on areas that were flaking off.
