I went to buy a Contax 167mt with some lenses, and this was thrown in the bag for no extra charge. I assume it is a similar concept to the Leica MDa. Anyone know about it?

It appears to be based on the Contarex, rather than the Contaflex. What an odd thing.

yeah, it's a contarex microscope camera - you can find a bit of info on the net. the mount is only for microscopes, so no lenses for this thing i guess. seems to go for up to 200$ in mint condition, which yours is obviously not 🙂

Add an accessory shoe for viewfinders and real lens mount and you'd have a real conversation piece.
