Made for the Contax IIIa. It can be adjusted to compensate for the additional height the meter gives to the the accessory shoe.

After doing some research this finder is not dedicated to the Contax IIIa but works well on it. I purchased mine in a Zeiss plastic box. It came with a chain that can be attached on the shoe finder, and the chain has a red and black plastic balls for distance measuring, at approx 30 and 40 cms. These two balls correspond to the red and black dot in the parallax finder mechanism. In the box there is an empty place that I think was for a close-up lens, unfortunately it is missing.
