according to usps website...

'Your item was accepted at 2:19 pm on January 24, 2006 in THOUSAND OAKS, CA 91362.'

your generous gift has left the hands of tony rose and is in the system.
it was sent by global express mail.

i have no idea how long it should take to get here but i'll keep everyone updated.

this is better than christmas!

joe:)

All right! This is so cool. Have you gotten your case from Luigi yet? The day I ordered mine I commented that his gift pushed me to go with him sooner rather than later and he said it had shipped that day, so... ?

William

joe, it was Friday the 20th, so that is a bit soon for it to get there sans Fed Ex. It's a race, I tell you, a race between the camera and the case ...

What?

William

oh yeah, it's only the 24th today.

the biggest problem with delivery to canada is customs.
i like the post office.

i can wait (barely;))

joe

A ton of pics, Joe! A ton of pics! Preferably shot with a mobile fone cam! :p

Joe,

For the opening ceremony, a high def video would be nice :)

Have you broken the news to the Canons yet, or are you not worried about culture shock

Hey, Joe! It's going to be +9C tomorrow in Edmonton---1 degree warmer than Vancouver. :)

Start by photographing the postman on your doorstep, it will make for some nice street pics, and no fill-in flash! ;)

Hey, how nice. It's in my old home town.

And, surely you will keep us updated. I doubt that you'll miss a beat. We are all looking forward to your reactions.

Good luck to the camera's journey.

Lucky dog!

Canada customs (or whatever they call themselves now) held a camera I imported from the UK for 3 weeks, just to charge me $2.65 duty, incorrectly I might add, after reviewing the customs schedule.

Of course, I have filed the appeal to get back my lousy two bucks from the SoB's ;)

Pictures, Joe. Tons and tons of them. With you in them. With you and the camera. With just the camera. With the camera and coffee. You with the camera and coffee. You get the idea. :D
