Zeiss Ikon rangefinder alignment correction?

I sold a still under warranty Zeiss Ikon to a nice chap who discovered that the rangefinder is out of alignment. He wants to keep the camera, but obviously wants this repaired. I can have it done under warranty, however I'm wondering if it would be faster and easier to have a competent repair person handle it. I'd have to pay for it.

Can anyone recommend such a repair person (I live in California, but can ship anywhere) and what should such a repair cost on average? And is this worth it or should we just handle it under warranty?
