I used my E-P2 with an older design Zeiss Planar 50mm 1.4 SLR lens. I really like the colors from such a combo.

Is that the C/Y version? AE (Germany) or MM (Japan) ?
IMHO, it is probably the best SLR 50mm lens ever made (and now I quietly hide...)

Mike, I agree with you that the Zeiss Planar 50mm 1.4 is an excellent lens. Mine is a QBM mount lens for the Rollei SLR system. It is a Made in Germany lens. The QBM lenses (in general) can be very expensive these days. I also own a Zeiss Distagon 35mm 1.4 and a Planar 85mm 1.4. This Zeiss trio is awesome.

NICE !
Always wanted to get a complete Rollei kit, but never had much luck with getting good, working bodies online (this was years ago). When I finally got my Contax Aria (around 2002), I never looked back...

The Rollei SLR line is notorious for breaking down. The manual ones may be the best to get, such as the SL35. The Contax bodies have to be much better!

Very nice work, Raid. These photos, including the one above, show that lovely Zeiss “pop” with color.

Thank you Steve. I love using the old design Zeiss lenses such as the Planar 501/.4 here. The low MP in the E-P2 does not bother me much. Amedeo tried for a while to create an adapter for QBM-M with RF coupling, but he then gave up on it. There are many low cost adapters online that are without RF coupling. If I had the Leica EVF for my M10, I could use such cheap adapters and then use LiveView. Right?
