Zeiss SLR lenses

I see Zeiss make their lenses in M42 and Nikon mount now. Presumably, the Nikon ones will function normally on a Nikon/Fuji body, but the M42 ones will dim the viewfinder as the aperture closes down.

Did I understand that correctly, or is there a way to make the M42 lenses stay bright in the viewfinder?

When the M42 lenses are used on M42 body with stop down metering the view finder will stay bright. Some of these bodies include Praktica MTL50 and Rolleiflex SL35.
