Intriguing isn't it. I would say it is not a genuine wartime Zeiss LTM mount as they did not have an infinity lock. My latest thought:
1. The very first part of the mount is Summitar, including the infinity lock, which is different on the Canon mount shown
2. The next bit that has the two knurled rings and a nice taper is Canon 50/1.5
3. The final bit that has the aperture ring is genuine Zeiss Sonnar from the late 50's.
Didn't Brian Sweeney make some adaptations like this a couple of years ago?
