ZI AE and filters tested.

Hey everyone,

Out of curiosity I did a few exposures with the Zeiss Ikon (ZI) to find out the filter factor for most of my filters on the film(s) I use. I metered a white wall and fixed the shutter at that speed while I shot each filter (the negs are yet to be measured - different story). Then I did the same filter sequence but at auto exposure to see how the lightmeter responds to different colours - figured it might be good to know if any filters need compensation.

I made a contact print of these frames and did a lousy shot with the nearest digital camera. Here's what it looks like:

Don't judge the tones since I probably messed up the contrast. What I find useful is that I (for one) will not bother about compensation for any of the filters I use. Yes, the red filter may be about ½-1 stop off, but I'm not gonna let that bother me.
