I will be in CA next week and would like to know if there is a camara shop, possibly in or near LA, where I can see the ZI, ZM 35mm Biogon and Voigtlander 2a. Prices need to be similar to mail order.
How about Cameraquest? Does Stephen have a retail store as well as his mail order biz?

I've never been to Popflash but called and asked to see something. Tony said
just to call before you want to visit. Maybe not a retail storefront but I trust
Popflash, so give them a call. But they are just outside of Los Angeles.
Last time I checked, Cameraquest does not let you visit them. Have fun in

Thanks for the info -- I'll try Popflash. A friend of mine told me that Samy's is the place in LA but when I checked their web site there was no Zeiss Icon. What kind of camera store is that

Freestyle Photo in Hollywood should have one you can look at (unless its sold). Its a great store to go to, and I highly recommend stopping by. Not sure if they'll have lenses to look at, though. But if you're in need of anything photography related, thats a great place to look, whereas Popflash would only have camera gear.
